Overview

Darisni (دارسني) means 'teach me' in Arabic. It was one of the first online tutoring platforms in the Arab world — connecting students with private tutors for live sessions, educational content and exam preparation. The project arrived in 2015 as a cold email from Kuwait while I was still based in São Paulo. That single message opened my first international project and a new way of working: across time zones, languages and cultural references I had to learn from scratch.

Challenge

The identity had to bridge two scripts — the bilingual mark needed to feel at home in both Latin and Arabic without compromising either. It also had to carry warmth across a wide audience: students, tutors and parents, each with different expectations of what a trustworthy learning platform looks like. The orange-forward palette needed to hold its energy across digital surfaces, letterheads, brand collateral and eventual product UI.
