Who is responsible for your data?

What data is collected?

This site collects only the minimum data necessary to operate. Specifically:

• Contact enquiries. If you contact me via the email link or any contact form, I will receive your email address and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
• Preference storage. Your colour scheme preference (light/dark mode) is stored locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.
• Session data. A session flag is stored to remember that you have dismissed the site notice banner. This is cleared when you close your browser tab.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data — such as pages visited, session duration, and approximate geographic region. This helps understand how the portfolio is being used. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. GA4 data is processed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Legal basis for processing

Any personal data you voluntarily provide (e.g., by sending a contact message) is processed on the basis of legitimate interest and your implied consent, for the sole purpose of responding to your communication. No data is processed for marketing or profiling purposes.

Data retention

Email correspondence is retained only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any related follow-up. Locally stored preferences are retained in your browser until you clear your browser storage.

Third-party services

This site may embed content from third-party platforms (e.g., Figma prototypes). These embeds are subject to the privacy policies of their respective providers. Please refer to those policies before interacting with embedded content.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law (including the GDPR where relevant), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data held about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict processing of your personal data
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
